UNL: Netherlands VS Belgium / Denmark VS France Preview and Prediction

Two of the most interesting UEFA Nations League matchups next weekend are the Netherlands vs. Belgium and Denmark vs. France. With all due respect to all other nations and events, we have to say that these two draw the most attention.

Stay with BetXchange and see the preview, picks and odds for both.

Netherlands VS Belgium

Netherlands

In order to take over the top position in their group, Belgium has to beat Oranje by at least a three-goal margin. That is the minus from the opening event in Brussels, back in the first round. The Netherlands rolled over the Devils, 1-4, inflicting them one of the worst defeats in recent years.

Oranje does play well throughout the entire UEFA Nations League, and we have to say that. Four victories and one draw is their record, with Louis Van Gaal’s boys netting at least twice in each event. The fantastic offense is their biggest weapon and for the moment, it works perfectly.

Overall, the Netherlands didn’t deliver two goals in just one of the recent 10 games. Throughout that period, eight events ended with three or more hits, while seven saw both teams scoring. Even though their defense frequently concedes, superb attack erases all that.

The Netherlands has been solid at home recently, not losing a single one since the EURO. In eight events, Oranje won six, while two ended with draws. The last four were with both teams to score too.

Belgium

The Devils lost that game against the Netherlands at home, which made the difference in the standings between them and the upcoming rivals. Though, Roberto Martinez’s unit regrouped soon after that, winning three in four, playing 1-1 on the road in Wales in the only game that didn’t see them triumph.

De Bruyne and the boys are coming off back-to-back victories against Poland on the road, 0-1, and Wales at home, 2-1. They, too, play exciting and efficient contests, with only two in the most recent 10 not ending with goals on both ends.

Seven were with three or more hits, and that is the best possible proof for our claims. The offensive potential of this crew is amazing, and even though they don’t have Lukaku and Origi, the midfield looks terrifying.

Prediction

The best thing here is to bet on goals. We suggest taking both teams to score and over 2.5 scores because that profit/risk ratio looks the best in this case.

Denmark VS France

Denmark

The Danes lost the top spot with a loss in Croatia and now have to beat France and hope to see the Austrians snapping points from Croats. Meanwhile, if the Gauls fail to win, and Austria triumphs, they will be relegated.

The Danes lost in Croatia, 2-1, falling down from first place in Group 1 of the A division. As said, they desperately need a victory here. They already beat France in the UNL, 1-2 in Paris, early into June this year. After that, they posted two wins and losses, with defeats coming to Croatia and victories against Austria. Four of these five events were with two or three goals.

France

France was better than Austria for their first success in UNL. The Gauls triumphed 2-0 at home, presenting a solid performance. Before this event, the World champions had two defeats and two draws, and they too frequently had events with moderate efficiency, meaning 2 or 3 goals.

Prediction

This is going to be our pick for the upcoming clash. The odds are quite solid, and since we already have a pattern on both ends, the chances of seeing this are high.
